Often referred to as the "Chinese Dr. Seuss," Rayfil King Wong was born in Hong Kong to Chinese immigrant parents, grew up in San Francisco, United States, and returned to China in 2011. Over the past twenty years he has been a motivational speaker to over 3000 students teaching the message that "Failure is not the end, but the beginning."

He credits his past failures such as being cut from the high school basketball team, being put on academic probation at UC Berkeley, and being fired in a corporate job with strengthening his mental vigor.

In 2007, he appeared ABC's prime time hit reality tv show American Inventor.  His invention Sober Key which aims to prevent drunk drivers access to their keys while drunk has amassed around 200,000 views on YouTube.

In 2012, he has been called a future "Net Prophet" by the prestigious South China Morning Post.

Wong has an economics degree from University of California - Berkeley.

I think it’s important to have a good hard failure when you’re young. Because of it I’ve never had any fear in my whole life when we’ve been near collapse and all of that.
— Walt Disney
